Virgin Experience Days sells experience gifts: spa days, driving and flying experiences, afternoon teas, stadium tours, theatre tickets and more, delivered as an e-voucher or in gift packaging. It suits anyone buying for someone who already has everything, couples planning a day out, and people who'd rather give a memory than another object. With free exchanges, the recipient isn't stuck if the gift doesn't suit them.
What's worth a look
- Spa Day with Three Treatments at Bannatyne Health Clubs and Spas is currently £55, down from £146, at 39 locations. It's a pampering gift for one, and the number of venues makes it easier to find one near the recipient.
- iFLY Indoor Skydiving is currently from £29.99. It's wind-tunnel "skydiving" without the plane, a fun first adventure gift for teens and adults.
- Go Ape Treetop Challenge for Two is currently £78, at 35 locations. These are high-rope courses and zip wires in the woods, an active day out for couples or friends.
- Double Landing Flying Lesson is currently £149, down from £249, at 6 locations. It's a hands-on lesson for aviation fans who'd like a go at the controls.
- Kew Gardens Visit With Afternoon Tea at The Botanical For Two is currently £114. It's a gentler London day out, good for parents and grandparents.
Prices can change, and reduced prices on experiences are often time-limited, so check the product page before you buy.
Many experiences are also available as gift cards and gift collections if you're not sure what the recipient would pick. For example, the Ultimate Collection gift collection is currently £100. Big-ticket options are on the site too, such as ABBA Voyage Dancefloor Tickets for Two at £138. Football fans are catered for as well, with the Liverpool FC Tour and Museum Entry for Two currently £52. There's also a price filter on the site, with bands starting at under £50, which makes it easier to stick to a budget when you're browsing gifts.
