Workout For Less is an online fitness shop run from Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire. Ben Goulding started it in 2011 with a small range of affordable kit, and it now stocks weights, benches, cardio steps, yoga gear, supports and racket sports equipment from brands including York, Reebok, Adidas and Body Sculpture. It suits people kitting out a spare room or garage, beginners buying their first pair of dumbbells, and club players after tennis, padel or squash gear.
Delivery is free across the UK with no minimum spend, so it is a sensible place to look even for a single resistance band or a set of light weights.
What's worth a look
- York Fitness Rubber Hex Dumbbells 2 x 10kg, currently £42.99. A pair of rubber-coated hex dumbbells, which sit flat on the floor and won't roll away between sets. The full York hex range runs from 2 x 1.25kg pairs up to heavier weights, so you can add pairs as you get stronger.
- Body Sculpture 24kg Smart Dumbbell Tower, currently £40.99. Three pairs of dumbbells (2kg, 4kg and 6kg) on a compact stand, aimed at beginners and anyone short on floor space. At the time of writing it was on backorder, so check the dispatch note before ordering.
- Reebok Step - Red, currently £64.49. A classic aerobics step that clicks to 15, 20 or 25cm high, with rubber feet and a textured top. Good for step classes at home, HIIT routines and step-ups.
- Adidas Performance Training Bench, currently £199.00. An adjustable weight bench with six positions from decline to upright, a leg developer and a removable preacher pad, rated to a 215kg maximum load. It suits someone building a proper home gym rather than a casual setup.
- Reebok Deck - White, currently £124.99. A step platform that doubles as a bench, with a four-position backrest and two heights (20 or 35cm), plus a QR code linking to free video workouts.
