Cosyfeet's clearance range is where the Somerset company puts its end-of-line extra wide fitting shoes, trainers and sandals, along with a handful of comfy socks and specialist insoles. Its own heading says it plainly: "Last chance to shop... once they're gone, they're gone." Prices are cut by roughly a third to a half on the original, so it's a good place to look if you already know your Cosyfeet size and want a second pair for less.
It suits a particular kind of shopper. The footwear in clearance is all women's styles in Cosyfeet's 6E width fitting, and most of it has touch-fastening straps or stretchy laces that you can adjust for a roomier or snugger fit. Men aren't left out entirely: the insoles come in men's sizes too, and the socks are for anyone. What you won't find right now are slippers or boots; for those, the main range is the place to look.
The catch with any clearance is choice. Many styles are down to a few colours and sizes, and some are down to one. A style that looks a bargain may not be there in your size, so it's worth checking sizes before you get attached to a colour.

If you want something a little dressier for under £40, Koryl has an adjustable strap with button detail and one of the widest choices of colours and sizes in the sale. Paradise is a part-shoe, part-sandal style with a closed toe and heel, which Cosyfeet says you can wear all year round.
On the non-shoe side, the clearance insoles are three-quarter length and designed to fit inside Cosyfeet's extra roomy footwear. All the women's and men's versions were £33 and are now £23. The clearance socks are cotton socks with graduated compression, now half price. Read the suitability notes on each sock's page before you buy, because Cosyfeet lists who they aren't suitable for.

How to save more
- Filter by size first. The clearance page lets you filter by UK size, colour and category, which saves you falling for a pair that's sold out in your fit.
- Bundle small items. Standard UK delivery is £5.75 per order, however small, so add socks or a pair of insoles to a shoe order instead of buying them on their own.
- Check VAT relief at checkout. On a £49 clearance shoe the price without VAT is about £8 lower, which adds up if you're buying more than one thing.
