About IKEA
IKEA was founded in Sweden in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad, who was 17 at the time. The name is made up of his initials and the first letters of Elmtaryd, the farm where he grew up, and Agunnaryd, his home village. IKEA UK opened its first store in Warrington in 1987 and is part of Ingka Group, the largest IKEA franchisee.
IKEA designs and sells flat-pack furniture and homeware, including sofas, beds, wardrobes, kitchens, storage, lighting, textiles, plants and kitchenware. Its stores also include a Swedish restaurant and food market, and it offers services such as assembly, kitchen planning, van hire and buying back used IKEA furniture.
There are 21 IKEA stores in the UK, plus smaller Plan and Order Points. Click and collect from a store is free, and orders can also go to lockers, DPD pick-up points and collection points in Tesco car parks. Products can be returned within 365 days, even if they have been opened and assembled. IKEA Family is free to join and gives members discounts, free small-parcel delivery on spends over £60 and free tea or filtered coffee on weekdays.

How to use IKEA voucher codes
- Tap Get code on the offer you want. We copy the code for you and open IKEA in a new tab.
- Check the offer's Terms first: some codes need a minimum spend, are for new customers only, or exclude sale items.
- Add what you want to your basket on ikea.com, or in the IKEA app if the code is app-only.
- At checkout, choose delivery or click & collect. Collection from an IKEA store is free; DPD pick-up points cost £2 and lockers £5, with lower thresholds for IKEA Family members.
- Paste the code into the discount code or promo code box and apply it. Check the discount shows in your order total before you pay.
- Didn't work? Tap Didn't work? under the code so we can recheck it, and read why codes fail.
Ways to save at IKEA
- Join IKEA Family for free before you buy to get member prices and free small-parcel delivery on spends of £60 or more.
- Choose click and collect from an IKEA store, which is free, instead of paying for delivery.
- Students can verify through Student Beans to get £10 off a £75 spend or £20 off a £150 spend.
- Look for multi-buy deals such as 4 for 3 on DRÖNA storage boxes on the offers page.
- Spread the cost of a big purchase between £1,500 and £15,000 with IKEA's 0% finance, subject to status.
