netart.com is the international brand of NetArt Group, a Polish cloud services company that says more than a million users have used its services since 1997. It sells the building blocks of a website: domain names, hosting, business email with your own domain, SSL certificates and site monitoring. The UK site prices everything in pounds and asks whether you're buying as a consumer or a business.

It's aimed at small businesses, sole traders, clubs and anyone running a blog or portfolio who wants their domain, website and email in one place, with 24/7 support by live chat and email.

The company runs its own data centres and a scrubbing centre to filter attacks, and its hosting plans include a CDN, SSH access, unlimited domains and email accounts, MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases and Node.js support. For more technical users there are VPS servers, managed databases and backup services, but you don't need any of that to get a simple site and inbox going.

What's worth a look

These are the entry-level options most people would start with.

A .com domain is on special offer at £10 a year, and registration includes the Secure Domain package with DNSSEC, DNS Anycast and automatic SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup for email. The CloudHosting Start plan has a standard price of £18.75 a month, but the promotional first year is £112.50, and the first month on monthly billing is free.

If you only need a professional email address, CloudMail Start is £12.50 a month as standard, or £75 for the first year on annual billing. Mailboxes come with spam and virus filtering and optional two-factor protection.

Two smaller tools are handy once your site is live. Monitoring WWW Start (£6.25 a month, or £37.50 for the first year) checks your site's loading time and server status and sends SMS and email alerts if something goes wrong, with regular PDF reports. Email Marketing 1k (£2.50 a month, first month free) lets a club or small shop send newsletters from ready-made templates.

Current offers

  • 20% off netart.com services with code cm47-7749-3897.
  • The site's own promotions include .com domains at £10 a year and .eu at £2.50 a year, a free first month on CloudHosting and email, and half-price first years on annual hosting, email and monitoring plans.

How to save more

  • Choose annual billing for hosting and email: the promotional first-year price is half what twelve months at the standard rate would cost.
  • Check the "Standard price list" table on each product page before you buy, because promotions apply only to the first billing period and renewals revert to the standard rate.
  • Check the promotion regulations for the small print on each deal.
