About 8wines
8wines is an online wine shop run by 8Wines s.r.o., a company registered in Prague in the Czech Republic. It has been trading since 2015 and sells to customers across Europe from a single website, with prices available in pounds sterling as well as euros and several other currencies.
The range runs to well over a thousand reds, around 900 whites, a couple of hundred sparkling wines and a smaller selection of rosés. Shoppers can filter by wines rated 92 points or higher, new arrivals or bottles currently on sale, and there is a dedicated UK phone line for customer queries.
Orders to the UK are sent with UPS, with an average delivery time of about three days. Delivery is charged per parcel size, starting at €12.43 for two bottles, and becomes free once an order reaches €450. Returns follow a 14-day cancellation window, and repeat buyers can earn rewards points towards money off later orders.
