About Cold Town Beer
Cold Town Beer is a craft brewery in Edinburgh, run by Scot Brew Ltd. The name comes from Calton Hill, which was once called Caltoun, meaning Cold Town. The brewery sits just off Leith Walk in Canonmills, and Cold Town House in the Grassmarket pours its beers from in-house tanks.
The idea is simple: new beers are brewed in small batches, and the ones drinkers like go on draught in bars around Scotland. The ones that sell well are then canned and sold through the online shop. The range covers a core lager, pale ales and IPAs, a peach lager, a barrel-aged imperial stout and alcohol-free options, plus 5-litre mini kegs and branded merchandise.
Online orders are delivered to mainland UK addresses only, with free delivery on orders over £50. Orders go out Monday to Friday and the brewery aims for next-day delivery where it can. There is also a Click 'Can' Collect service from The Black Bull on the Grassmarket for some products. You must be over 18 to buy, and couriers may ask for ID.
