Cliphair is a hair extension company from Wallington in South London that began as a small family-run shop in 2007. It sells 100% Remy human hair in just about every format: clip-in sets for wearing at home, halo and wrap-around ponytail pieces, and professional tape-ins, nano rings and wefts for stylists. It suits anyone who wants more length or volume for an occasion or every day, including first-timers, as the site spends a lot of time helping you choose.

If you're unsure about your shade, there's a free colour-match service and sample pieces, plus a short quiz that suggests a set based on your hair type.

What's worth a look

These are some clip-ins and care products from the site, with the starting prices shown today; clip-in prices go up with length.

The classic full head clip-in sets are the lightest and cheapest way in, from £93 in many shades, and Cliphair suggests them for fine to medium hair. If your hair is thicker, the double-wefted sets add more volume and start at £141, while the seamless clip-ins, which have flat wefts that are harder to see or feel, start at £168.

Extensions last longer with the right care, so the Quench the Thirst range of shampoo, conditioner and mask is made for them, and there's a hanger and carrier bag to store a set between wears.

Hairdressers can open a trade account for professional pricing on tape-ins, nano rings and wefts. For everyone else, UK delivery is free over £30 on the 3 to 5 day tracked service, express delivery is £3.99, and there are guaranteed next-day and Saturday options if you need a set for a weekend event. You can also spread the cost with Klarna or Clearpay, and the Cliphair Rewards scheme gives you points on what you spend.
