Claudio Lugli is a family-run London label that has been making bold printed shirts since 2001. Every print is a limited edition, so once a design sells through it doesn't come back. Themes run from motorsport and tennis to partridges, pheasants and gundogs, music, skulls and mythical dragons. The brand suits anyone who wants a shirt that gets noticed at a wedding, a race day or the pub. It's also an easy present for the man who already owns plenty of plain blue shirts.

As well as shirts, the range includes printed sleeveless jackets, blazers, leather trainers, ties, cufflinks and boxer shorts, plus a smaller women's collection. There is a showroom in north-west London where you can book a fitting, and the brand has stands at events such as Goodwood, Burghley and the Game Fair.

The Northern Lights Evolutionary Placement Print Shirt shows off the brand's placement prints, where the design is laid out across the whole shirt, and it's down from £120 to £80. If you'd rather try the brand for less, the Classic Plain Bamboo Boxer Short at £12 is the cheapest way in.

Shirts are a regular, tailored fit and the brand says they're true to size. There's a size guide on every page, and the London team will help over WhatsApp or the phone if you're unsure.

The showroom also offers tailoring and fitting, collection of online orders and returns in person, which saves on postage if you're in London. Orders go out from London by tracked DPD, and the brand ships to Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, with the price shown at checkout.
