About Claudio Lugli
Claudio Lugli is a London fashion label known for loud printed shirts. Hossian 'Hoss' Salimian founded it in 2001, and it is still a family business. Each print is a limited edition, and the brand says a design never returns once it sells out. The themes cover almost everything: motorsport, tennis, game birds and country sports, music, dragons, skulls and Hawaiian florals.
As well as long and short-sleeved shirts, the range includes placement-print shirts, flocked and tuxedo shirts, polo shirts, printed sleeveless jackets and blazers, printed leather trainers, ties, cufflinks and printed or bamboo boxer shorts. There is also a smaller women's range of printed shirts and dresses. Shirts are a regular, tailored fit and run up to large sizes.
The brand sells online and from a showroom in north-west London, where you can book a fitting, collect orders or return items. It also has a stall at country and equestrian events such as Goodwood, Burghley and the Game Fair. UK orders go by tracked DPD, with next-working-day delivery for £8, free over £150. A large clearance section often has shirts well below their usual price.
