Boots Photo is the high street chemist's online photo service. It's run by CEWE, a German photo printing firm founded in 1961, and orders are made at CEWE's UK lab in Warwick. It suits anyone with a phone full of pictures they never get round to printing, and it's especially handy for Christmas presents for grandparents.

You can design online, in the free Boots Photo app or with downloadable software. Online orders are delivered to UK addresses only, and if you just want a few prints in a hurry, you can use a CEWE Photostation in a Boots store.

For smaller gifts, a personalised snow globe starts at £7.99, and photo prints start at 10p each. Beyond these, the range covers canvas, acrylic, aluminium and poster wall art, streetmap posters, greetings cards you design yourself, phone cases, desk calendars and planners. With Christmas coming up, there are photo advent calendars too, including versions filled with kinder, Ferrero or Tony's Chocolonely chocolates behind photo doors. The Christmas page groups gift ideas by who you're buying for, from grandparents to dog owners.
