Eversure is a specialist insurance intermediary based in Guildford, Surrey. It has been selling cover since 2008 and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Rather than one general policy, it sells a handful of specialist policies for cyclists, photographers, people hiring cars, drivers and caravan owners. The policies are underwritten by insurers including AXA and AIG.

It suits people who want cover for one specific thing rather than adding it to a home policy. Quotes are online, and each product page sets out the cover limits, key exclusions and policy documents. Always read the policy wording to check the cover fits what you need.

What's worth a look

These are Eversure's six main policies, with the starting prices shown on its site today. Your own premium will depend on your details and the options you choose.

Cycle insurance covers theft and accidental damage as standard, for road, mountain, hybrid, folding and electric bikes, up to £15,000 per bike. It also includes up to £100 of accessories and cover for family members aged 12 or over who live with you. If you buy a bike new, it can be replaced new for old. You can add extras such as public liability, personal accident and replacement bike hire.

The car hire excess policy pays back up to £10,000 of excess charges under your rental agreement. That includes windscreen, tyres and underbody damage, which rental desks often leave out. Camera insurance, underwritten by AXA, can cover kit up to £15,000 per item as standard, and you can add worldwide cover, studio cover or hired equipment. For caravans, Eversure compares quotes from a panel of insurers.

Current offers

We don't have any Eversure codes at the moment. On the Eversure site itself:

  • New customers can get 15% off bicycle insurance, as shown on the cycle page. No code is printed, so check the discount appears in your quote.
  • Insuring more than one bike on the same policy earns a multi-bike discount, with no limit on the number of bikes.
  • On camera policies, choosing a higher excess than the standard £100 lowers the premium.

How to save more

  • Some extras are already included, such as the accessory and family cover on cycle policies. Check what's included before paying for add-ons you may not need.
  • If you hire cars more than once a year, compare annual car hire excess cover with buying single trips.
  • Camera policies over £75 can be paid in instalments through Premium Credit. Paying upfront avoids the credit agreement and its £10 charge if the agreement isn't signed.
