Fitimins: UK-made supplements in letterbox-friendly pouches

Fitimins is a Manchester-based supplement brand run by Factra Ltd. Its in-house team makes and packs its own capsules in the UK, and the range spans amino acids, herbal extracts, mushroom capsules, gummies, vitamins and minerals, with separate men's and women's ranges and a handful of bundles. It suits anyone who already knows which supplement they're after and wants a UK-made option at a modest price.

One practical touch is the packaging. Most products come in slim 60-capsule pouches that fit through the letterbox, so you don't have to be in when the post arrives, and the brand says its packaging is fully recyclable. If you're not sure where to start, there's a short quiz and a library of guides on the site.

What's worth a look

Most single products start at between about £6 and £11 for a 60-capsule pouch, with 120-capsule packs on many lines. Here are six from its top picks:

The cheapest way in is the Siberian Ginseng 500mg Capsules, from £5.99, while the CoQ10 200mg Capsules start at £10.99. Where a product says "From", the starting price is for the smaller pouch, and you choose the number of capsules on the product page. Citicoline, for example, is £10.99 for 60 capsules or £19.99 for 120.

The shop is organised two ways: by ingredient type (amino acids, antioxidants, herbal, nootropics, mushrooms, gummies, vitamins and minerals) and by the goal a product is aimed at. There's also a Supplement Bundles section that groups several pouches together, though check stock before you plan around one, as at least one bundle was showing as out of stock when we looked. Every product page lists the capsule strength and pack size, so it's easy to compare like with like across the range.

How to save more

• Line up three items for the 3 for 2 and check the basket total against the £20 free-delivery threshold, adding a fourth pouch if you're just short rather than paying £3.95 for postage.
• Compare the 60- and 120-capsule options on each product, as the bigger pack is often cheaper per capsule.
• Bundles are excluded from the 3 for 2, so price up the same items individually before you buy a bundle.
