It works with local florists and gift basket suppliers, so most arrangements are made up and delivered by a florist near the recipient. Prices are in US dollars and the shop is built for the American market, which makes it handy for UK readers with family or friends in the US or Canada. It also lists florist delivery to the UK and many other countries, though international prices can change with exchange rates.

On weekdays, US orders placed by 3pm in the recipient's time zone can usually be delivered the same day. At weekends the cut-off is 1pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday. There's also an express option, usually $4.99, that aims to get florist-delivered orders there within four hours.

The range goes well beyond bouquets. You'll find roses by the half dozen, dozen or two dozen, lilies, orchids, tulips and daisies, plus green and flowering plants, balloons, teddy bears, and gift baskets with wine, chocolate-dipped strawberries or fruit. Most homepage arrangements cost between about $40 and $140. The shop's guarantee says that if you're not happy, you can contact them within seven days of delivery and they will exchange the item.
