Interparcel is a parcel delivery comparison and booking service. Instead of checking each courier's website in turn, you enter where your parcel is going and how big and heavy it is, then choose from the delivery services on offer. It suits anyone who sends parcels now and then: people selling unwanted things online, small businesses posting orders, and anyone sending a birthday present to family elsewhere in the UK or abroad.

The UK business is Interparcel Limited, a company registered with Companies House in 2004 and based at Gatwick Manor Business Park in Crawley, West Sussex. It's listed under licensed carriers and is still active today.

What's worth a look

We couldn't load Interparcel's website when we wrote this, as it blocks automated visits, so we can't list today's prices or services. These are the main things to compare when you get a quote:

  • Collection or drop-off: having a courier collect from your door is handy, but dropping the parcel off yourself is often cheaper.
  • Speed: next-day and timed services cost more than economy options that take a couple of extra days. If the parcel isn't urgent, the slower service is usually the better deal.
  • Size and weight bands: prices jump at certain weights and sizes, so a slightly smaller box can sometimes drop you into a cheaper band.
  • International delivery: for parcels going abroad, check what customs paperwork is needed and whether the person receiving it might have to pay duty or tax.
  • Cover: check how much compensation is included if a parcel is lost or damaged, and whether you need extra cover for anything valuable.

Before you book, check the list of items that can't be sent. Batteries, liquids, aerosols and perfume often have restrictions, and some items can't go by courier at all.

Current offers

We don't have any Interparcel offers listed at the moment. Prices depend on the service, the destination and the size and weight of your parcel, so the quote page is the best place to compare what's available on the day you send.

How to save more

  • Use the smallest strong box that fits. Lots of empty space adds to the size, and the bigger the box, the more you pay.
  • Compare drop-off and collection prices for the same parcel before you choose, and think about whether you really need the fastest service.
  • If you're sending several parcels to the same place, see whether one bigger parcel costs less than a few small ones.
