MyToolShed is the website of a tool superstore in Brimsdown, Enfield, and part of Lee Industrial Group, which dates back to 1976 and has sold online since 1996. It lists more than 80,000 products, from screwdrivers and drill bits to mitre saws, pressure washers, ladders and workwear. It suits DIYers and gardeners as much as tradespeople, and if you live near the M25 in north London you can collect from the store for free.

The brand list covers most names you'd look for, including DeWalt, Makita, Bosch, Einhell, Stanley, Karcher, Gardena, Webb and Draper. Cordless tools usually come in several versions on one page, bare or with different batteries and chargers, so you can buy only what you need. Couriers give a one-hour delivery slot on the day, and PayPal Pay in 3 is available on orders from £20 to £3,000.

Autumn means leaves, and the Einhell VENTURRO 18/210 is a cordless blower and vacuum from £111.95 as a bare tool, or more with a battery and charger. For bigger clear-ups, the Webb WEESS Silent Garden Shredder at £219.95 has a 2,800-watt motor with a low-noise crushing system and a 50-litre collection box.

Indoors, the Stanley SM1650 mitre saw costs £99.95 and currently comes with a free aluminium-cutting blade worth £20. It's corded, with a rotating table that clicks into the common angles and an LED cutting guide, which makes it a sensible first mitre saw for skirting, shelving and frames.

Around the house, the Black and Decker PV1820L Pivot Dustbuster is £81.95, and the Karcher OC handheld cleaner is £77.95. If you collect rainwater, the Gardena 2000/2 cordless water butt pump starts at £69.95 as a bare tool and runs on 18V Power For All batteries.
