HAVA: tabletop dishwashers and a portable washer for small spaces

Shopping at HAVA? See all current HAVA discount codes and deals, checked regularly.

HAVA makes small appliances for homes that don't have room for full-size ones. Its UK store sells two tabletop dishwashers and a portable washing machine, plus bundles, refurbished units and spare parts. The dishwashers can connect to a tap or be filled by hand from a built-in tank, and the washer has its own drain pump, so none of them needs permanent plumbing.

That makes HAVA a good fit for renters, people in studio flats or student houses, anyone living alone or as a couple, and caravan, motorhome and boat owners. If your kitchen has no space for a built-in dishwasher, or there's no washing machine connection, these are worth a look.

The R01 Tabletop Dishwasher is the compact original. It measures 43 x 43 x 46cm, holds four bowls, four cups, eight plates and seven sets of cutlery, and has five programmes plus a drying mode. Its 5-litre tank means you can fill it with the jug provided if there's no tap connection. The newer R09 adds a built-in water softener, seven programmes, including a 29-minute quick wash, and a control panel on the front so it can sit further back on the worktop. It's rated energy class D.

For laundry, the T02 Portable Washing Machine takes a 3kg load, has eight programmes and a built-in water heater, and spins at up to 750rpm. Its drain pump can push water up to 120cm, so you can empty it into a sink. HAVA says washing machines can't currently be delivered to Northern Ireland.
