Acer Gadget Store: USB-C hubs, docks and desk kit from £10

Acer Gadget Store Global sells Acer-branded computer accessories: the hubs, docks, cables and desk kit that go around a laptop. It's not Acer's own UK laptop shop. It's run by Newease, a cross-border online retailer that says it's an authorised Acer distributor and a supplier for Acer Gadget, the Acer business that licenses the brand for peripherals.

It suits anyone with a USB-C laptop who needs more ports, a second or third screen, or a tidier desk. Most of the range is modestly priced, from card readers and Ethernet adapters at around £10 to £15, up to triple-monitor docking stations at around £100.

Be aware that this isn't a UK business. The site shows prices in pounds when you visit from the UK, but orders are shipped from China and typically take 5 to 10 business days. The free shipping offer over $59 applies in the US; the shipping policy says European orders cost an extra $10 to $20 per package, so check the delivery charge at checkout before you pay.

The range goes well beyond hubs. As well as hubs and docks, there are HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 cables, USB-C Ethernet adapters, wired, wireless and gaming mice, office and mechanical keyboards, and single or dual monitor arms. You can pay by card, PayPal or Klarna. The returns policy covers refunds or exchanges within 30 days for faults, items damaged in transit or products that don't match their description.

What's worth a look

These are six of the best sellers and new arrivals, with the UK prices shown on the site today.

The new 12-in-1 USB-C docking station is the headline product: two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort let you run up to three monitors from one cable, though the store notes that display performance depends on your laptop and monitors. For a lighter setup, the 7-in-1 hub adds HDMI, USB-A, USB-C and SD/microSD slots and fits easily in a laptop bag.

Current offers

• Our Acer Gadget page lists four codes: ACERGADGET15 and Acer10OFF for new customers, ACERHUB20 for 20% off a USB-C hub, and ACERODK4K0 for 20% off the ODK4K0 USB-C docking station. Check each code's terms before use.
• Many best sellers are on sale, with savings of up to 29% on hubs and card readers.
• The 12-in-1 dock is £108, down from £131, and the dual monitor arm is £57, down from £70.

How to save more

• Because each order ships from China with its own delivery charge, buy everything you need in one order rather than several.
• Register your product on the site after it arrives. The FAQ says this extends the standard one-year warranty to two years.
• If you change your mind, contact the store within two hours of ordering; after that, cancelling may mean paying return postage.
