ARTAH is a London supplement brand founded by nutritionist and naturopath Rhian Stephenson. Rather than stocking hundreds of lines, it sells a focused range of daily formulas, a handful of money-saving bundles and short nutrition programmes, most of them in a 30-day supply. The company is a certified B Corp and says its formulas are third-party tested. It suits adults who already know which everyday supplement they want and like buying from a smaller, practitioner-led brand. As always, check with your doctor before starting anything new if you're pregnant, taking medication or have a health condition.

What's worth a look

These are some of the best-known products on the site, with one-off prices as shown today (subscription prices are lower).

The bestselling Cellular Hydration is a low-sodium electrolyte powder in a 250g pouch, which you stir into water. If you'd rather cover a few basics in one go, the Core Essentials Stack combines Essential D3/K2, Essential Magnesium and Essential Omegas for £43.20. Essential Creatine is a plain creatine monohydrate powder, while Essential Magnesium comes as 60 capsules of magnesium glycinate and malate. Nearly everything is vegan apart from the Omegas, which use fish oil, and the products are made for over-18s only.

If you're not sure where to start, ARTAH has a free supplement quiz and offers nutrition advice on its site, and the FAQs are refreshingly plain about what each formula contains. Capsules come in recyclable black glass jars that keep for two years unopened, and the brand suggests finishing a jar within six months once the seal is broken. Gift cards are also available from £25 to £200 if you're buying for someone who's already a fan.
