Aven Row is an online women's fashion shop with a tidy, minimal look. The range is built around occasion dresses, sequin, crepe and fringed maxi styles among them, plus tops, bottoms, a petite section and a jewellery edit of bracelets, necklaces and rings. It suits anyone hunting for a wedding-guest, party or holiday dress, or a small personalised gift.

Prices are shown in pounds for UK shoppers, and the site also lists euro and other local currencies for much of Europe. The shop appears to be fairly new, and we could not find a company name or address on the pages we were able to read, so it is worth taking a moment over the small print before you buy.

• Adoria Sequin Cut Out Maxi Dress in gold: currently £119 (prices can change). A full-length sequin dress with a cut-out detail, aimed squarely at evening events. A white version is currently in the sale at £60.

• Abeda Cotton Maxi Dress With Hardware in pale blue: currently £90 in the sale. A cotton choice that is easier to wear for daytime and holidays.
• A Bubble Initial Necklace: currently £34. A letter pendant that makes a straightforward gift.

Beyond these, the menu splits into tops, petite and jewellery, so it is quick to browse by what you need. The jewellery section is further divided into bracelets, necklaces and rings, which helps if you are pairing a piece with a dress or looking for a smaller present.
