Back to the Office is a UK online tech retailer set up in 2022. Despite the name, it is not just about desks and printers: the shop covers PC components, gaming monitors, consoles, laptops, tablets, networking kit, coffee machines and printer ink. It suits gamers building or upgrading a PC, people kitting out a home office, and anyone who wants to spread the cost of a bigger purchase.

It also runs The Gaming Club, its own line of custom gaming PCs that you can configure in a 3D builder and have upgraded to your specification, plus an Ink Finder for matching cartridges and toner to your printer.

What's worth a look

• PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (Slim): the disc-free version of Sony's console, currently £518.99. Note that PlayStation products ship on a slower 5-7 working day service.
• PlayStation Portal Remote Player (White): a handheld screen for streaming PS5 games around the house, currently £217.99. A black version is also listed.
• BenQ EW270Q 27" 200Hz monitor: a 2K screen with a fast refresh rate for gaming, currently £194.99, down from £199.99.
• BenQ EW2790U 27" 4K monitor: a sharper 4K option for work and media, currently £322.99, down from £329.99.
• Moccamaster KBG Select (Forest Green): a filter coffee machine for the home office, currently £259.99, down from £289.99.

Prices can change, so check the product page before you buy.

If you'd rather not build a PC yourself, have a look at The Gaming Club. Its ready-made gaming PCs can be modified before they're built, and there's a gift finder for anyone buying for a gamer. Beyond gaming, the catalogue includes business laptops from Lenovo, HP and ASUS, memory and storage, power supplies, cases and coolers, and smaller items such as cables and microSD cards. Business buyers have a separate For Business section.

Current offers

• Free standard delivery over £50: orders under £50 cost £4.95 for 3-5 working day delivery. Express delivery is £9.99 on selected products. See the shipping policy.
• Moccamaster sale: the KBG Select in Forest Green is £30 off its listed was-price.
• BenQ monitor reductions: several BenQ monitors are showing small reductions on the homepage.
• Low Price Promise: if you find an identical product cheaper at a reputable UK online retailer, you can ask them to match the price. Amazon, eBay and marketplace sellers are excluded, and the competitor's delivery charge counts.

How to save more

• Group smaller items, such as cables, memory cards or ink, into one order of £50 or more to avoid the £4.95 delivery charge.
• Before checkout, compare the price with other UK retailers and use the price match form; they say they reply within 12 hours.
• Check specs and compatibility carefully. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 14 days if unused, but there is a minimum £9.99 collection fee and original delivery isn't refunded.
