Blown London is a mobile hairdressing service that sends stylists to you, wherever you are in London. Instead of travelling to a salon, you book online or by phone and a stylist arrives at your home, hotel, apartment or event with colour stock and salon equipment. It suits busy professionals, parents with small children, wedding parties and anyone who would rather have their hair done without leaving the house.

The service is London only. Every appointment starts with a consultation, and you can pay online when you book or by card or cash on the day.

Booking is straightforward: choose a service, a stylist and a time on the website, and you get a confirmation email with your appointment details. You get a reminder by text or email 48 hours before, and the team gets in touch if your stylist is running late. Blown London says its stylists are qualified, insured and have more than ten years' experience.

What's worth a look

All prices are as shown on the booking page and can change.

• Luxe blow-dry with an Olaplex treatment: currently £85, or £170 for two people booked together. There is also a bundle of five blow-dries from £425.
• Haircut, blow-dry and Olaplex: currently £135, for a trim or a complete restyle.
• Colour: roots or full colour with a blow-dry is currently £185, half-head balayage or highlights with a cut and blow-dry £225, and full-head balayage or highlights with a cut and blow-dry £265.
• Tape-in hair extensions: new fittings start from £495 for a quarter head, refits from £395 and removal with a blow-dry is £145. Each fitting starts with a free video consultation so the hair can be colour-matched.
• Updos and event styling: updos start from £135, and hair and makeup for weddings, parties and events is £285.

How to save more

• Book a blow-dry for two at £170 if a friend or family member wants one too. It costs the same as two single bookings, but you only need one slot.
• If you are having colour done, add an Olaplex treatment for £35 rather than booking a separate treatment appointment.
• Check what is included before you add extras. Colour appointments already include a toner, and most colour packages include a cut and blow-dry.
