Cheap Furniture Warehouse is an online furniture outlet run from two warehouses in West Yorkshire, in Queensbury near Bradford and in Shipley. It sells branded furniture below the recommended retail price, and says savings can reach 60% off RRP. Some of the stock is surplus, some is ex-display, and some is factory seconds that may have a small scratch or dent. Product pages tell you when that applies, so you know what you're buying.

It suits anyone furnishing a first home, a rental or a spare room on a budget, and families looking for garden and play equipment. As well as beds, sofas, wardrobes and dining sets, there are desks, storage, mirrors, rugs, nursery furniture, trampolines and even kitchen units.

What's worth a look

• Crawford 3 Piece Bedroom Set: a grey wardrobe, four-drawer chest and bedside with dark oak-effect tops. Currently £319.99, against an RRP of £500. This one is listed as excess stock or a factory second.
• Evie Fabric 2 Seater Sofa in natural: a compact two-seater, currently £200 (RRP £324).
• Lacetti 200cm Extending Dining Table in cream and oak, currently £265 (RRP £384).
• Sportspower 10ft Trampoline with Enclosure: currently £105, down from £162.
• Squares 6 Cube Storage Unit in white: a simple shelving unit for toys or books, currently £30.

Many lines have only a handful in stock and prices can change, so check the product page before you order. Most pieces are flat-packed for self-assembly, and each listing gives full dimensions, so measure your room, stairs and doorways before you buy, especially for wardrobes and sofas.

Current offers

• 10% off your first order when you subscribe to the email list.
• Up to 60% off RRP across the range.
• Free delivery on all orders to England, Wales and parts of Scotland. Bulky items arrive within about five working days, or up to ten in some areas, and smaller parcels come by 48-hour tracked delivery.
• The Final Sale clearance section has further reductions.

How to save more

• Sign up for the 10% welcome discount before you place a large order like a bedroom set or sofa, where the saving is bigger.
• Browse the £50 or less and £100 or less sections for side tables, shelving and mirrors.
• Compare the stated RRP with the condition notes. A factory second with a small mark on the back of a wardrobe can be a good buy, while something you'll see every day might be worth paying a little more for.
• Avoid extra charges. Missed bulky deliveries, cancellations after dispatch and refused deliveries each cost £50, so check the delivery date the courier sends and make sure someone is in.
