Gisada is a Swiss fragrance brand founded in Zurich in 2013 by Arben Ademi, with a flagship shop in the city. The scents are Gisada's own, and the brand names the perfumers it has worked with, including Andreas Wilhelm and Lucas Sieuzac. Its UK site shows prices in pounds with tax included, and standard delivery to the UK was showing as free at checkout when we looked. It suits anyone who wants to try a fragrance house you won't find on every high street, and its sample sets make that easier before you buy a full bottle. Gisada also sells casual clothing, but fragrance is the main focus.

What's worth a look

• Prestige Line Samples: currently £8. A sample set covering nine scents, from Titanium and Ambassador Men to Donna and Ambassadora Gold. It's an inexpensive way to work out which, if any, you'd like in a full bottle.
• Ambassador Men: currently from £89. An eau de parfum that opens with citrus, moves through herbs and soft florals and dries down to woods and amber. Gisada describes it as one of its best sellers, and it's sold in 50ml and 100ml.
• Gold: currently from £89. A Prestige Line eau de parfum described as fresh yet warm, sold alongside a women's partner, Ambassadora Gold, also from £89.
• Luxury Fragrance Travel Set: currently £125. Travel sizes of five Luxury Line parfums: Imperial, Iris, Rose, Royal and Oud. The full bottles are £217 each, so this suits someone who wants a few to rotate.
• Gift sets: currently £95.50 for the Ambassador Men, Ambassador Intense, Titanium and Ambassadora sets. These are worth a look for birthdays and Christmas.

How to save more

• Try samples first. The £8 Prestige set or a £20 Luxury Line set costs far less than a full bottle you end up not wearing.
• Use the 20% code rather than the 10% ones where it's accepted. On an £89 bottle that's £17.80 off rather than £8.90.
• Check the returns policy before you buy. Sale items can't be returned, and personal care goods such as fragrance are listed as exceptions, so an opened bottle is unlikely to be accepted back.
