Guestz is a serviced accommodation company based near Chester. It lets self-contained apartments, studios and rooms for holidays, weekend breaks, work trips and longer stays. Stays run from a couple of nights to three months or more. It suits couples and families who want a kitchen and more space than a hotel room, as well as contractors and relocating staff who need a base for weeks at a time.

Every property comes with Wi-Fi, a smart TV, fresh linen and towels, and a kitchen or kitchen corner. Many units have parking, housekeeping is included, and phone support runs 24 hours a day. Guestz doesn't list prices on its property pages. You see them when you search your dates in the booking system.

Most of the portfolio is in the North West of England and North Wales, with other locations including Cheltenham, Lytham St Annes and Hull. Some properties have hot tubs, and extras such as airport transfers, car hire and Champagne on arrival can be added. Keys are usually in a key safe, though a few properties use a nearby KeyNest store, and cleaning happens after each stay or weekly on longer bookings.

How to save more

• Try a few different dates in the booking system, as nightly prices change with demand.
• If your property has a kitchen, plan some meals in rather than eating out every night.
• Ask about parking before you book. Not every property has an allocated space, and paying for parking nearby can add up.
