MINT Outdoor is an online garden furniture company based in Swanscombe, Kent. It sells sofa sets, corner lounge sets, dining sets, sun loungers, covers and cushion boxes in rattan, teak, acacia, aluminium and woven rope. It keeps prices down by having many pieces made to order and shipped straight from its manufacturing partners, rather than holding lots of stock in a warehouse.

The collections are split between core ranges such as Palma, Chesterton, Stockholm and Sicily, and the MINT Originals, which are UK-exclusive designs released in small batches. Some sets are in stock for delivery in 5 to 10 working days, and others are sold on pre-order with a delivery estimate on the product page. Furniture sets come with a minimum three-year warranty, and Originals with at least five years.

It suits anyone furnishing a patio or deck who is happy to buy without seeing the furniture in a showroom first. Delivery is free to most of mainland England and Wales, but check your postcode before you get attached to a set: MINT doesn't deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland or a list of island postcodes.

How to save more

• Buy the bundle. Sets sold with a cover and cushion box cost less than buying the pieces one by one, and a cover helps the furniture last.
• Spread the cost if you need to. Klarna is available at checkout to split or delay payment, though you should only use it if you can keep up the repayments.
• Think about assembly before you order. MINT's assembly service costs £99.95 per item, so it may be worth doing it yourself if you're handy with an Allen key.
