mytyres.co.uk is the UK shop of Delticom, a German online tyre retailer founded in 1999, with its UK company based in Witney, Oxfordshire. It sells summer, winter and all-season car tyres, van, 4x4 and EV tyres, run-flats, vintage and motorsport tyres, plus wheels and complete wheel-and-tyre sets. It suits drivers who know (or can look up) their tyre size and want to compare brands and prices before booking a fitting.

Prices include VAT and delivery to mainland UK, and delivery is free when you buy two or more tyres. You can send them to your home or straight to one of more than 2,100 partner garages and book a fitting slot online; the garage charges separately for fitting. There's a 30-day return policy and a freephone line, open weekdays from 7am to 8pm.

The search is the heart of the site. Enter your tyre size from the sidewall, or pick your car's make and model, then filter by season, speed rating, brand and price. Results show stock levels and delivery times, typically one to four working days for tyres in stock. A Tyre Assistant asks about your driving to suggest suitable patterns, and there are guides to reading sidewall markings and to TPMS sensors, which matter when you change tyres on modern cars.

What's worth a look

Tyre prices depend on size, so here are six popular options in 205/55 R16, one of the most common car sizes, as listed today (price per tyre):

With winter on the way, all-season tyres such as the Michelin CrossClimate 3 or the cheaper Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert 3 are worth a look if you'd rather not swap tyres twice a year. The site's product pages show the EU label grades for fuel efficiency, wet grip and noise, which makes comparing easier.
