Olight UK: rechargeable torches, head torches and clip lights

Olight is a torch maker founded in Shenzhen in 2007, and its UK store sells the full range direct. The lights are rechargeable, most through Olight's magnetic charging cables or USB-C, and the range runs from tiny keyring lights to search torches bright enough to light up a field.

It suits dog walkers, campers, cyclists, people who work in the dark, and anyone who carries a small torch every day. The best-known products are the Baton pocket torches and the flat Arkfeld and ArkPro lights, which slip into a pocket like a pen. There are head torches, clip-on lights, battery chargers and NexTool multitools too, plus a range of tactical lights.

The UK store only delivers to UK addresses. Royal Mail delivery is free on orders over £49, and orders usually arrive within 4 to 7 days. You can pay by card, PayPal, PayPal Credit, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Beyond the six picks below, it's worth browsing the head torches (the 2,500-lumen Perun 2 is billed for camping and fishing), the Ostation battery chargers, which charge AA and AAA rechargeables, and the NexTool pocket multitools. Most product names include the maximum brightness in lumens, which makes it easy to compare lights side by side.

What's worth a look

Here are six lights for different jobs, with the UK prices shown today.

For a first Olight, the Baton 4 is the obvious place to start: a pocket torch with up to 1,300 lumens, and a Premium Edition that comes with a charging case. If you need your hands free, the Perun 3 Mini head torch has white and red light, and red is handy for keeping your night vision.
