OutIn: portable espresso machines for camping, travel and the commute

Shopping at OutIn? See all current OutIn discount codes and deals, checked regularly.

OutIn makes portable espresso machines, and the idea is simple: a proper shot of coffee wherever you are, whether that's a campsite, a car park at the start of a walk, or a desk at work. Its machines are battery powered and heat their own water, so you only need coffee and a bottle of water. The website sells direct and shows prices in pounds for UK visitors.

It suits campers, van-lifers, hikers, frequent travellers and anyone who can't face another service station coffee. The kit isn't cheap, so it makes most sense if you'd use it often or want a gift for a coffee lover who already has everything for the kitchen. Shipping to the UK is free over $39, but orders come from warehouses in the US, EU or China, so allow for delivery time and possible import charges.

Beyond the machines, OutIn sells the bits that make a travel setup work: the Fino rechargeable grinder, which adjusts from espresso to cafetiere with one dial, the LattoGo milk frother, filter and adapter kits, waterproof carry cases and gift sets. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery once customer service has approved them, and the products carry a 12-month limited warranty, with OutIn paying return postage if something is faulty.
