Sophos Lifestyle is a third-generation family business with its offices above its own leather factory in Rutland. The family's trade goes back to 1886, when it supplied spats, braces and studs under the Lambournes name, and the company still makes its leather belts by hand on the same site. Today the range also covers practical bags and accessories for walks, weekends away and travel, and it suits anyone after well-made everyday kit with a countryside feel.

Orders are sent from the UK by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or DHL. Beyond belts and bags, the shop sells waxed canvas and Harris Tweed holdalls and totes, boot bags for walking boots and wellingtons, washbags, beanies, scarves, gloves and cotton walking socks. There is also a pet range with water-resistant dog coats, hi-vis and reflective leads and matching collars, plus home and gift items such as barware, enamel mugs and glasses cases. Customer service is open by phone on 01572 824 333 from Monday to Friday, finishing early on Fridays.
