Sunshine Diamonds is a jeweller with a showroom in Hatton Garden, London's jewellery quarter. It sells engagement rings, wedding bands, diamond earrings, tennis bracelets and pendants online, all priced in pounds. It says it makes its own pieces and sells direct, without a high street shop's markup. It suits anyone shopping for an engagement ring or a big-occasion gift who wants to compare natural and lab-grown diamonds side by side, or who likes the idea of popping into a London showroom before spending a large sum.

Nearly every design can be configured. You choose natural or lab-grown stones, the carat weight and the metal, from 925 silver and 9K gold up to 18K gold and platinum. That means one ring can come in at very different prices, so the figures below are the starting prices shown on each page today.

For a proposal on a budget, the Lydia solitaire is a ready-to-ship ring with a 0.75ct lab-grown round diamond, graded D-E colour and VVS clarity, in 9K gold for £660. The Paityn tennis bracelet has a double safety clasp and comes with natural or lab-created diamonds in total weights from 2ct to 5ct. How to save more

• Change the stone type before you change the design. On most pages, switching between natural and lab-grown diamonds makes the biggest difference to the price.
• Check the metal options too. A 925 silver or 9K gold version of a design usually costs far less than 18K gold or platinum.
