Waterdrop: countertop and under-sink water filters, with codes on every page

Waterdrop has been making water filters since 2015 and sells them in the UK through its own site, priced in pounds, with orders sent from Amazon warehouses around the country. Standard delivery is free and takes two to four business days. Northern Ireland, BFPO and Channel Islands addresses are excluded. The range goes from simple under-sink cartridges to the reverse osmosis (RO) systems the brand is best known for, including countertop dispensers that need no plumbing at all.

It suits renters who want filtered water without drilling into the worktop, households that get through a lot of bottled water, and anyone who wants a hot water tap without fitting a boiler tap.

What's worth a look

Here are six products from the UK site. Prices shown are the standard list prices today; most have a model code that takes money off at checkout (see the notes).

For most kitchens the countertop models are the easiest place to start. The A2 hot and cold dispenser sits on the worktop and pours water anywhere from 15°C to 95°C with six temperature settings. It lists at £449, and the code WDA2 brings it to £329. The smaller C1H does instant hot water in a more compact body and comes down to £219.99 with its code.

If you'd rather plumb something in, the UA under-sink filter connects straight to your cold supply, and its filter is rated for 12 months. The tankless G3P600 and the flagship X16 are full under-sink RO systems for bigger households. The X16 has a smart digital faucet and a two-year warranty, while most other RO systems come with one year. Every system has its own replacement cartridge, and Waterdrop lists the matching filter and its price right next to the add-to-basket button.

Current offers

We don't have Waterdrop codes in our list yet, but the site itself is busy:

• The Fall Sale runs on 6 and 7 October only, with savings of up to £800.
• Product pages show a model code to enter at checkout, for example WDX16 (£800 off the X16), WDG3P600 (£189 off) and WDA2 (£120 off).
• Standard UK delivery is free on every order.
• Waterdrop Rewards members get a monthly £10-off-£200 voucher and earn 10 points per £1 spent.

How to save more

• Copy the code from the product page before you check out. The lower price isn't applied unless you enter it.
• Check the replacement filter price (it's on each product page) so you know the yearly running cost, not just the upfront price.
• Keep your receipt handy: Waterdrop offers 30-day price protection, so if the price drops after you buy, you can claim the difference.
