World of Wallpaper is a family-owned online shop based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, and part of the Argofield group. It has sold online since 2004 and now stocks thousands of wallpapers, which you can browse by colour, theme, room or brand. It's a handy place to start if you are redecorating a room and want plenty of choice in one place, from inexpensive own-brand rolls to designer names. Own-brand rolls often sit between about £10 and £19, while premium brands cost more, and the Sale and Clearance sections are worth a look for reduced designs. There are also sections for children's rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, and paste-the-wall papers that are quicker to hang.

Alongside its own exclusive World of Wallpaper designs, the shop carries brands such as Holden Décor, Laura Ashley, Arthouse, Muriva, Rasch, Clarke & Clarke and William Morris at Home. It also sells murals, borders, lining paper, paste and tools, so you can order everything for the job together. A room visualiser on the site lets you preview a design on a photo of a room before you buy.

How to save more

• Order samples first with the free-samples code. Colours can look different on screen, and samples cannot be returned, but a full roll you won't use costs more.
• Use the shop's wallpaper calculator to work out how many rolls you need, so you don't overbuy. Unused rolls in sealed, resaleable condition can be returned within 90 days, at your own cost.
