AMIClubwear is an online women's fashion shop based in Azusa, near Los Angeles, California. Its founder and owner, Yang Yang, says she coined the word "clubwear" in the late 1990s for the going-out styles she designed, and the shop still centres on that look: party, club and cocktail dresses, sequins and rhinestones, bodycon pieces and statement heels.
The range goes much wider than nightwear, though. There are everyday dresses, sweaters and cardigans, jeans and trousers, coats and jackets, plus-size sections, swimwear and a big footwear department with boots, heels, sandals and trainers, including brands such as Pleaser, Demonia and Cape Robbin. Accessories run from handbags and belts to jewellery, and there's a large costume section that grows around Halloween. Many lines show a reduced sale price, and there are Clearance, Doorbusters and Under $20 sections.
The shop ships from the US. UK visitors can browse in pounds (GBP), and international orders go by USPS; import tax and duty are paid by the customer on delivery. Returns are accepted within 30 days for store credit only, with the customer paying return postage, and many items, including sale, clearance, swimwear, lingerie, costumes and accessories, are final sale.
