Ways to save at Clove Recycling
- Remove iCloud, Google or Samsung accounts, PINs and SIM and memory cards, and factory reset the phone before you send it, or the price can drop.
- Pick the condition honestly: the quote is only paid in full if the phone matches what you chose.
- Send your phone so it arrives before midday on a weekday for same-day payment.
- Ask for DPD collection for high-value phones, as the Royal Mail pack isn't insured.
- Businesses, charities and schools can get a bulk quote and data-wiping certificates.

Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every Clove Recycling deal here comes from Clove Recycling itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, Clove Recycling may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
About Clove Recycling
Clove Recycling is a phone buy-back service: rather than selling you something, it pays you for your old phone. You search for your model, choose the storage size, condition (good, average or faulty, and new for some models) and network, and get a quote. It buys Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Sony, Huawei, Nothing and Fairphone handsets, with recent flagships such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max quoted at up to £812.
You can print a returns label, ask for a freepost bag within 48 hours, or for high-value phones have DPD collect it. Once the phone arrives and is checked against its description, it pays the same day by bank transfer or PayPal for phones received before midday. Quotes are held for 14 days. Phones must be paid off, not blacklisted, factory reset and signed out of iCloud, Google and Samsung accounts. If a phone isn't in the condition you described, it can offer a lower price.
Clove Recycling is a trading name of Hugh Symons Exchange Limited of Poole, Dorset, which also trades as Clove Technology, a seller of new and refurbished devices. The Hugh Symons business dates back to 1971. There's also a recycling service for businesses, charities and schools with data-wiping certificates.
Clove Recycling delivery and returns
| Delivery | Sending your phone is free: print a returns label after ordering, or ask for a freepost bag sent within 48 hours. DPD collection can be arranged for high-value phones. The Royal Mail Tracked 24 pack is uninsured, so the phone is your responsibility until it arrives. |
|---|---|
| Returns | If your phone doesn't match the condition you chose, it can offer a lower price. Quotes come with a 14-day price guarantee. |
