About Everywhen
Everywhen is the new name for Towergate Insurance, and the old towergateinsurance.co.uk address now redirects to everywhen.co.uk. It's a UK insurance broker that, by its own account, brings together more than 35 brokers and specialists under one name. It's a trading name of Advisory Insurance Brokers Limited (called Towergate Underwriting Group Limited until 2022) and Health and Protection Solutions Limited, both authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, with its registered office at Minster Court in the City of London and local broker offices around the country.
Unoccupied property insurance is one of its specialist home products. Most standard buildings policies only give full cover for about 30 days when a home is empty, so this is for longer gaps: waiting for probate or a sale, renovations, moving into care, or a second home. Policies run for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, there are three levels of cover, and £2 million property owners' liability is built in. You can add contents cover up to £100,000, legal expenses up to £50,000, home emergency assistance and help with managing claims. Cover depends on someone inspecting the property every week.
Everywhen also sells unoccupied landlord, probate house, holiday home, second home and renovation insurance, along with landlord, caravan, motor and business cover. Quotes are online or by phone, and it says a quote takes less than five minutes.
