About GIGLIO.COM

Michele Giglio started in the 1960s with a small fabric shop, drawing on what he had learned in his family's textile and haberdashery shop, and gradually turned it into a fashion store. The business became a limited company in the 1970s and expanded into several boutiques in Palermo.
Today it is best known as a multi-brand luxury e-commerce site, and most of its sales are made online rather than in the Palermo stores. It sells designer and luxury fashion and accessories, and runs a number of language and country versions of its website, including an English-language UK version. The company operates as a joint stock company, and in 2019 the investment firm Equilybra took a minority stake in it. It has also been listed in the FT 1000 ranking of Europe's fastest-growing companies.
