MFI Medical is the trading name of MFI Medical Equipment, Inc., a family-owned business founded in 1980 by Annette and Arnold Wiesel and based in San Diego, California. It is now run by the founders and their sons, and it supplies medical equipment and consumables to clinics, hospitals, dental and veterinary practices, care homes and government buyers across the United States, as well as to individual customers.
The range runs from everyday items such as stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, surgical tape and dressings to large equipment such as examination tables, procedure chairs, sterilisers and vital signs monitors. Big names include 3M, Welch Allyn, Midmark, Ritter, Stryker, Hillrom and Medela, and some items are sold as certified refurbished. Business buyers can pay by purchase order on approved terms, and there is a tax-exempt programme for US organisations.
MFI is set up first and foremost for US customers. Prices are in US dollars, and free shipping and free returns apply only to orders within the contiguous United States. Its shipping policy does cover international orders, but shipping costs are worked out separately, the recipient is responsible for customs and brokerage, and some items, such as those classed as hazardous goods, can only go to addresses in the continental US. UK buyers should ask MFI for a delivered quote before ordering.
