About Plotaverse
Plotaverse is a creative app and community from Plotagraph, Inc., a US company whose terms are governed by Florida law. It was founded by photographer Troy Plota, who invented Plotagraph, a way of making parts of a still photo move while the rest stays still, so clouds drift, water flows or fabric ripples in a seamless loop. The company says its Plotagraph+ app reached number one in the Photo & Video category of the iOS App Store in August 2017.
The Creative Studio now has four connected tools. Plotagraph turns a still image or AI-created picture into motion using motion paths, anchors and masks. PlotaPhoto is for editing photos and saving parts of them as reusable effects. PlotaMotion is a layered video editor where you choose when each effect appears. Plota FX is a library of overlays, moving effects and backgrounds you can use across all three. Alongside the tools there is a social feed, profile pages, Collections and a Daily Inspiration image that members interpret in their own way.
The app is a free download with in-app purchases. The full Creative Studio is on iPhone and iPad through monthly or yearly All-Access subscriptions, while Android and the web focus on the community side. Prices aren't listed on the website: you see them in the app before subscribing, and subscriptions are billed and cancelled through your Apple or Google account.
