Its roots go back to Shenzhen Grand Precision Motor Co., Ltd., founded in June 2004, which made tubular motors and projection screens for other brands before the company began selling under its own name direct to customers.\n\nThe range is built around screens for home cinema, especially for ultra-short-throw (UST) laser projectors. There are floor-rising motorised screens that lift out of a case, slimline drop-down screens, recessed in-ceiling screens, fixed-frame screens, outdoor weatherproof screens and ambient-light-rejecting (ALR) materials for rooms that aren't fully dark. It also sells motorised laser TV cabinets that hide a projector and screen in one piece of furniture, plus bundles with projectors from brands such as Hisense, AWOL Vision and Valerion.\n\nPrices on the site are in US dollars, even for UK visitors, and shipping is quoted at checkout. VIVIDSTORM has warehouses in China, the US, the UK, the UAE, Japan, Australia and Canada and ships from the nearest one with stock. Screens carry a two-year warranty and their motors five years, but the returns window is short, so check sizes and projector compatibility before ordering.
