For £10 a month, giffgaff will give you 80GB of data for 18 months, more than three times the usual 25GB, if you activate by 30 October. That's one of several strong offers this week, alongside free Pixel Buds Pro 2 with a new Google Pixel and up to £300 towards broadband exit fees. Three of the six have October deadlines, so here's what each one gets you.

1. 80GB of data for £10 a month
giffgaff's £10 18-month contract normally comes with 25GB. Activate it by 30 October and you get 80GB a month instead, for the full 18 months, with unlimited UK calls and texts. There's no credit check and no mid-contract price rise. Existing members can opt in through the giffgaff app.
It suits anyone who streams, uses maps a lot or tethers a laptop, and wants to keep the bill low.
Tip: You can still move up or down a plan each month on a contract, so you're not stuck if your needs change.
2. 40GB for £8 a month
The £8 18-month contract usually includes 6GB. Activate it by 4 December and you get 40GB a month for 18 months instead. Like all giffgaff plans, it includes 5G at no extra cost on 5G phones in 5G areas.
It's a good fit for lighter users, a child's first phone or a second SIM.
Tip: If you leave before the 18 months are up you may pay an early termination charge. If you're not sure you'll stay, a monthly rolling plan keeps you free to leave.
3. Free Pixel Buds Pro 2 with a new Google Pixel
The Pixel 11 Pro XL with 256GB is £1,379 on giffgaff. It comes unlocked, with a 24-month warranty and free next working day delivery to most of mainland UK.
Google is also running a gift-with-purchase offer: buy a Pixel 11, 11 Pro or 11 Pro XL from a participating retailer, including giffgaff, by 13 October and you can claim Pixel Buds Pro 2 from Google between 8 October and 27 November.
It suits anyone after a big-screen flagship who'd rather pay once and pair it with a cheap SIM.
Tip: The Pixel Buds are claimed from Google, not added at checkout, so keep your receipt and your phone's IMEI number.
4. 100GB for £10 a month for students
Students with a .ac.uk email address can get 100GB a month on the £10 monthly rolling plan for 12 months. There's no contract, so you can stop whenever you like. Activate by 4 August 2027 to qualify.
It suits students who live on their phone and don't want to be tied to a contract over the holidays.
Tip: If you can't get into your university email yet, you can order a student SIM with any email address and activate it later with your .ac.uk address.
5. Refurbished iPhones from £169
giffgaff's refurbished range starts at £169 for an iPhone 12 (64GB, Good condition), with an iPhone 13 from £209 and an iPhone 14 in Like New condition at £339. Every refurbished phone is data-wiped, gets a 30-point health check, has at least 80% battery health and comes with a minimum 12-month warranty.
It suits anyone who wants an iPhone without the new-phone price.
Tip: The Good grade can show marks on the body and screen. If looks matter, compare the Very good, Excellent and Like new prices for the model you want.
6. Up to £300 towards your broadband exit fees
If you're stuck in a broadband contract, giffgaff will cover your old provider's early exit fee as bill credit, up to £300, when you switch to one of its 24-month full fibre plans. The offer runs until 30 October, and there are no mid-term price rises.
- 200Mbps: £25 a month
- 500Mbps: £28 a month
- 900Mbps: £32 a month
It suits anyone whose current broadband is due a price rise but who would face a fee to leave.
Tip: You need to upload your old provider's final bill within 60 days, and the credit is applied after you've made two payments, so keep that bill safe.
