The Flip XT³ pushchair is half price at Mamas & Papas this week: £249.50 instead of £499. That's part of a sale across most of the range, with up to 40% off pushchairs and furniture, up to 50% off toys, gifts, bedding and décor, and 25% off selected clothing. Some individual prices go further than those headline figures.

Here are six offers worth a look, with a tip for each. Selected lines only, and prices can change.

At a glance

1. Half price on the Flip XT³ pushchair

The Flip XT³ is one of Mamas & Papas' own pushchairs, and it's £249.50 instead of £499 in all three colours. The bundles are reduced too:

• 4-piece Flip XT³ bundle: £368, down from £736
• 7-piece bundle with a Cybex Aton B2 car seat (Harbour Grey): £599, down from £1,163.95
• Matching carrycot: £94.50, down from £189

It suits parents who want a full travel system from a big-name brand without paying four figures.

Tip: Compare the bundles before buying parts separately. Prices differ by colour and car seat, so check every option on the pushchair sale page.

2. The Ocarro 2 9-piece bundle for £1,299

The Ocarro 2 is Mamas & Papas' flagship pushchair, and the homepage is promoting a 9-piece bundle at £1,299. In Eclipse, Crema, Heritage or Teal, that includes a Cybex Cloud T i-Size car seat and base. If you don't need a car seat yet, the 7-piece Ocarro 2 Essential bundle is £999.

It's the one to look at if you want everything for the first months in one box.

Tip: Bundle prices vary by colour and car seat, so check what's in each before you choose.

3. Car seats from Joie, Cybex and Maxi-Cosi

The car seat sale includes:

• Joie Stages baby-to-child seat: £80, was £100
• CBX by Cybex Pallas B i-Size: £109.95, was £149.95
• Maxi-Cosi Pearl 360 Pro in Authentic Black: £219, was £269.99
• Cybex Base 2 Fix for Aton car seats: £65, was £140

It suits anyone moving up a car seat stage, or adding a second base for another car.

Tip: Book a free car seat appointment in store to check the seat fits your car before you commit.

4. Up to 40% off nursery furniture

In the nursery furniture sale, the Hampden Cotbed and Hampden Wardrobe in Cashmere are both £231, down from £330. The Lua Bedside Crib bundle with a sheet and mattress protector is £189, down from £264.

It suits parents getting the nursery ready in the next few months.

Tip: Free delivery over £60 doesn't apply to furniture. Two-man delivery costs £20 on a weekday or £30 at the weekend, so check whether free click and collect from a store is offered on the item you want.

5. Half price baby clothes and gift sets

The baby clothing sale has plenty of pieces at half price or less. The Welcome to the World Baby Boy 3-piece gift set is £22.50, down from £45, the Lightweight Pramsuit is £17.50, down from £35, and the Pink Quilted Jacket is £11.60, down from £29.

It's good for baby shower gifts and for stocking up on the next size.

Tip: Sizes sell out unevenly, so check yours is in stock before you plan an outfit around it.

6. Up to 50% off toys and playmats

In the toys and gifts sale, the Monochrome Playmat is £42.50, down from £85, the Snug Floor Seat with Activity Tray is £44, down from £59, and the Tummy Time Snugglerug is £19.50, down from £39. The Welcome to the World 2.5 tog baby quilt is £31.60, down from £79.

It's a good place to start on early Christmas presents for babies and toddlers.

Tip: If your basket is just short of £60, adding a small gift gets you free standard delivery.
