Members Week is on at Not On The High Street, and it drives most of this week's best savings: five extra offers for NOTHS & More members, all ending at 11.59pm on 11 October. Membership costs £10 for a year, gives 10% off everything, doesn't renew automatically and can be added during checkout, so if you're planning a Christmas order it's worth doing the sums.

Here are the six offers we think are most worth your time, with a tip for each.

1. 20% off selected advent calendars

Members get 20% off 96 selected advent calendars from small brands, taken off automatically at checkout. Listed prices include a Book Quote Advent Calendar for readers at £19, The Christmas Mouse advent treasure hunt, with a personalised letter option, at £29.99, and The World's Smallest Advent Calendar in a matchbox at £10.47, already cut by 30% from £14.95.

It suits anyone who wants something different from a supermarket chocolate calendar, for kids or grown-ups.

Tip: The offer can be used once per customer, so put every calendar you want in a single order.

2. 15% off all home and garden

Members get 15% off everything in the home department, from candles and blankets to garden pieces. New-in homeware is part of the range, so you can pick up Christmas decorations and cosy gifts in the same order.

It suits people refreshing a room for winter or buying homeware gifts early.

Tip: The discount comes off the items, not the postage, so look for products marked with free delivery to make the saving go further.

3. 15% off fashion

Members also get 15% off the women's and men's fashion ranges from independent labels.

It's handy for winter wardrobe additions and for clothing gifts that aren't from the usual high-street names.

Tip: You can combine Members Week offers in one basket, but only one offer applies to each item. Where two could apply, you get the higher discount automatically.

4. 15% off when you buy two Food Hall items

Put at least two items from The Food Hall in your basket and members get 15% off all of them. Current listings include Crwst Granola Clusters at £8.49, Chimac Korean Hot Sauce at £9.50 and The Chilli Lovers Hot and Spicy Cheese Gift Box at £29.99.

It suits food lovers and anyone putting together a hamper or Christmas Eve treats.

Tip: Food is perishable, so it generally can't be returned. Check dates and delivery estimates, especially for anything you're saving for Christmas.

5. A free greeting card when you spend £30

Spend £30 or more, not counting delivery, and members can add a free card worth up to £3.50 from a handpicked list. The cards we saw cost £2.50 to £2.99.

It suits anyone sending a gift straight to the recipient, so the card arrives with it.

Tip: It's one free card per customer, and if you add more than one eligible card the discount goes on the cheapest, so add only the card you want free.

6. Up to 50% off in the sale with free delivery

This one is open to everyone. The sale with free delivery lists more than 21,000 products with up to 50% off and no postage to pay. Examples today:

• Personalised men's stainless steel plaque bracelet: £25.60, was £32
• 18ct gold-plated multi-strand heart necklace: £33.75, was £45

It suits gift buyers on a budget, since free delivery removes the per-seller postage that can push up a NOTHS basket.
