Cartridgex: compatible ink and toner for most printer makes

Cartridgex is a UK web shop that sells printer consumables to households, offices, schools and public bodies. It is run by Litpol Ltd, a London-registered company set up in 2013. Most of what it sells is compatible or remanufactured ink and toner under its own Cartridgex name, which tends to cost much less than the printer maker's own cartridges, alongside some branded stock and office basics.

It suits anyone who prints regularly at home or in a small office and wants to keep running costs down. You can shop by printer make (Brother, HP, Canon, Epson, Oki, Kyocera, Lexmark, Xerox and many more) or by type: ink cartridges, toner cartridges, drum units, Epson refill bottles, paper, labels, envelopes and fax rolls. Each listing shows the price with and without VAT, which is handy for business buyers. The shop also sells gift certificates and runs a blog with buying guides, for example on choosing the right HP 117A toner for a colour laser printer or weighing up compatible against original cartridges.

What's worth a look
