Dean Morris Cards: funny cards from £2.95, sale cards from 50p

Dean Morris Cards is a small greeting card publisher in Wolverhampton. Dean Morris set it up in 1999, selling handmade cards covered in sequins and glitter, and nearly every design in the range is still his own. The look mixes retro photographs with jokey captions, and the cards are also sold in independent shops and through distributors in Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

Be aware that a large part of the range is rude, sweary or both. That's the point for many buyers, but if you're shopping for a grandparent or a colleague, browse by occasion or range and read the card before it goes in the basket. There's plenty of gentler stuff too, and that's what we've picked out below. Standard cards cost £2.95 each, and the site also sells personalised cards, A4 cards, Christmas multipacks and small gifts with the same designs.
