Joybuy is the European online shop of JD.com, one of China's biggest retailers. It launched in the UK in March 2026 and is run here by Jingdong Retail (UK) Limited in London. Rather than acting purely as a marketplace, Joybuy buys and holds much of its own stock. JD has also built its own warehouses and delivery network to get orders out quickly.

The range is wide. You'll find toilet roll, kitchen towel and laundry pods, bottled water and fizzy drinks, Asian groceries such as rice, noodles and frozen foods, kettles and rice cookers, fridges and freezers, TVs, phones, headphones and gaming. It suits bulk-buyers stocking up on cupboard staples, anyone cooking Chinese, Korean or Thai food at home, and shoppers in Greater London, Luton, Milton Keynes and Birmingham. In those areas, orders placed by 11am can arrive the same day, and orders placed by 11pm arrive by 3pm the next day. Elsewhere, delivery is next-day or two-day.

The CHiQ 199L chest freezer was £149 against £199, and JoyPlus members were shown £144.53. Pantry stock-ups are where Joybuy really competes. The Green Dragon Thai fragrant rice was a Lightning Offer at £16.99 for 10kg, which works out at £1.70 a kilo. Welcome Offers can make a big difference for new customers. The JBL Tune Flex earbuds were listed at £59.99, but £29.99 as an app-only Welcome Offer, and the AirPods Pro 3 dropped from £219 to £189 the same way.

Current offers

• New customers get Welcome Offers: free delivery and welcome prices on selected items, some of them only in the app. The homepage also offered a £5 bonus for registering.
• A free 30-day JoyPlus trial gives free delivery on eligible orders with no minimum spend, member prices and monthly coupons. It renews into a paid membership unless you cancel in the Member Center.
• Many household essentials carry a "£5.00 off over £20.00" basket promotion. There were also Lightning Offers, an Outlet section, Mix & Match deals and 3x Joypoints on selected items.

How to save more

• Build your basket to £20 on items showing the £5 off promotion. Tissues, toilet roll and kitchen towel count, and they're things you'll use anyway.
• Use your Joybuy Points. You earn 1 point per £1 spent, and 100 points take £1 off, covering up to half the product total of an order.
• If you're a JoyPlus member and find the same eligible item cheaper within 7 days of paying, claim Price Match with Points.
