Grain Up is a UK brand that does one thing: overnight oats. Each mix is made from gluten-free rolled oats with pea protein, dates and flaxseed, and the whole range is plant-based and suitable for vegans. You add milk, stir, and leave it in the fridge overnight, so breakfast is ready when you get up. If you forget, the brand says they're ready in six minutes.

It suits people who want breakfast sorted the night before: commuters, early starters, students and anyone who eats breakfast at their desk. There are four flavours at the moment, Blueberry Muffin, Banana Bread, Berry Chia and Choconut Brownie, and each comes in two formats: single-serve 60g pots for grab-and-go mornings, or 300g boxes if you'd rather scoop out your own portions at home.

What's worth a look

  • Choconut Brownie 60G Pot: a single pot is currently £2, so you can try a flavour before committing to a bundle.
  • Build Pot Bundle, 8 Pack: currently £16 for eight 60g pots in any mix of flavours. There are also 16-pot (£32) and 24-pot (£48) versions.
  • Banana Bread 300G: currently £6 a box, and the cheapest per serving if you buy it on the four-weekly subscription.
  • Build a Box, 4 Pack: currently £24 for four 300g boxes in flavours of your choice. Six-box (£36) and eight-box (£48) versions are also available.

Prices can change, and a few multi-box bundles were sold out when we looked, so check the product page before you order.

Current offers

  • Subscribe and save on 300g boxes: the Banana Bread 300g box is listed at 40% off on a four-weekly delivery (£3.60 instead of £6), 30% off every six weeks and 20% off every eight weeks.
  • 20% off bundles on subscription: Build a Box packs and Build Pot Bundles drop by 20% when you subscribe, so the 4 Pack goes from £24 to £19.20.
  • Free shipping: advertised in the banner across the site.

Subscriptions renew automatically, but you can skip or cancel a delivery at any time.

How to save more

  • Choose the 300g boxes if you're happy to measure out your own 60g portions. A box costs the same as three single pots and has the steepest subscription discounts.
  • Mix flavours in one bundle instead of placing several small orders, so everything arrives in one delivery.
  • Join the Grain Up email list, which promises deals and early access to new products.

Food can't be returned, so contact Grain Up straight away if an order arrives damaged or wrong. It's also worth reading the delivery and returns terms before you start a subscription.
