Greenera is a UK garden supplies shop run by a London-based company. Its range covers hose reels, plant supports, raised beds, edging, lawn care, washing lines and outdoor furniture. Most of it is practical, everyday kit rather than designer pieces, and prices mostly start in single figures or the teens. It suits anyone sorting out a garden, patio or balcony on a budget, especially if you'd rather not pay for delivery on small items. With autumn here, the lawn-care and clean-up tools are the most useful part of the range right now, alongside planters for getting next year's growing ready.

What's worth a look

• Long-Handle Leaf Grabber: currently £16.99. It has a metal handle and wide plastic paddles for scooping up leaves and grass cuttings without bending down. Timely for October, and handy for anyone with a bad back.
• Heavy-Duty Garden Rake: currently £19.99. It has 25 metal teeth, a wide head and an adjustable handle (80 to 152cm or 80 to 165cm options), for clearing leaves and general lawn tidying.
• Handheld Grass Seed Spreader 3L: currently £11.99. It has adjustable flow with four aperture settings, for spreading seed, feed or granular treatments more evenly. Useful if you're patching the lawn this autumn.
• 4-Tier Mini Greenhouse (PVC cover): currently £23.99. It's a metal shelf frame with a weather-resistant cover and a roll-up door, for seedlings and herbs on a patio or balcony.
• 3-Tier Wooden Raised Garden Bed: currently £59.99. It's a fir-wood stepped planter measuring 61 × 75 × 76cm with three planting boxes, a good fit for small spaces where you want to grow herbs or strawberries next year.
