H2K Botanicals is a family skincare brand from Harrogate that has been making bath and body products since 2000. Its founder, Hazel, started out making vegan skincare for her own sensitive skin. Kalahari melon seed oil is still the brand's signature ingredient and runs through much of the range. Products are cruelty-free, many come with large refills, and there's a shop on Montpellier Parade in Harrogate as well as the website.

The range is broad for a small brand: bath and shower gels, hand washes, lotions and hand creams in scents such as lavender and sandalwood, cocoa butter and mango, black pepper and vanilla, and rose and black cherry. There are also the OMG magnesium sprays, pillow mists, candles and room scents, travel sizes and gift hampers. It suits anyone who likes a well-stocked bathroom shelf, and the hampers are a ready-made present. The Harrogate shop is open Tuesday to Saturday if you'd like to smell the scents first.

Much of the range is designed to mix and match by scent, so you can buy a shower gel, hand wash and lotion that all smell the same. The gift section is sorted by budget and by recipient, including a Gifts Under £20 section. For holiday lets and B&Bs there's a travel and hospitality range, and there's a trade enquiries service for shops and businesses. The By Concern menu groups products for sensitive or mature skin, and the Refills section collects all the larger bottles in one place.
