KitBrix makes bags for people whose sports kit tends to end up muddy, wet or scattered across a changing room floor. The company dates back to 2013, and its signature product is the Hero Bag: a 20-litre, box-shaped holdall with a waterproof base, mesh outer pockets and smaller inner pockets for keys and electronics. Two bags can be zipped together and carried as a rucksack, which is handy on race days.

The bags come with a strap that can be fitted in several positions and slot-in icons for the outside pocket. Clubs can order team icons, and the FAQ says there's no minimum order for standard bags. The base is waterproof and the rest of the bag is highly water resistant, but because the zips interlink KitBrix doesn't call the whole bag waterproof.

It suits triathletes, swimmers, runners and gym-goers, as well as parents juggling children's kit for several sports. The range now includes totes, a backpack, dry bags, change mats and activity bundles, and many items use recycled ripstop fabric.

What's worth a look

  • KitBrix Hero Bag - currently £90.00 in black, red, yellow and silver. It's the original bag, with a padded strap and a roof pocket for a kit checklist.
  • TotePack - currently £65.00. A tote that converts to a backpack, in four colourways.
  • ToteBrix Tote Bag - currently £50.00. An extra-large everyday holdall designed with Paula Radcliffe.
  • PoKit Daypack - currently £45.00. A light 520g daypack with a removable, wipe-clean lining and reflective strips.
  • KitMat - currently £25.00. A mat to stand or sit on when you're changing on a wet floor or a damp bench.

Current offers

  • Save £30 when you buy any two Hero Bags. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
  • The Essential Bundle is £50, down from £100. It includes a Dobi dry bag, snap bands, a KitMat, collapsible cups, a towel and a race belt.
  • Activity bundles are up to 20% below their listed price, for example the Yoga & Pilates Bundle at £88 instead of £110.
  • Free UK delivery on orders over £55.

How to save more

  • If two of you in the house need a bag, buy two Hero Bags in the same order for the £30 saving. The bags can also be zipped together into a rucksack.
  • Look at the bundles before buying accessories one by one, as they're priced below the separate items.
  • Below £55, standard delivery costs £6. Adding a Dry Bag Dobi (£25) to a smaller order can work out better value than paying postage.
